Padenghe sul Garda, a small jewel on Lake Garda, is located in the lower part of Lake Garda on the border with Lonato and Moniga del Garda. The village has about 5000 inhabitants and is situated on a hill. From the tower of the village, an old fortress dating back to the 12th century, you have a magnificent view of Lake Garda and the surrounding countryside. Besides the castle, Padenghe sul Garda offers many tourist attractions such as the church of Sant’Emiliano, wine tastings, wonderful walks along the lake shore, and beautiful sunsets.
Easy to reach: A4 Turin/Venice motorway, exit at Desenzano, and then follow the signs for Salò.
By train: The nearest train station is Desenzano, just a few kilometers from Padenghe.
