San Martino della Battaglia is a hamlet of Desenzano del Garda in the province of Brescia. It is an area home to numerous wineries where it is possible to taste local wines. This hamlet is best known for its Tower, a 74-meter-high structure built in the late 19th century to commemorate the battles of the period. The town is 8 km from Desenzano del Garda and sits at 135 meters above sea level. From the tower, you can enjoy a wonderful view of both the lake and the surrounding hills. On the clearest days, you can see the towns of upper Lake Garda. The Sirmione motorway exit is located just a few kilometers from the town and the Tower. San Martino della Battaglia is situated a few kilometers from the towns of Sirmione and Desenzano.
