Description
In Soiano del Lago, a few steps from Lake Garda and the centre, we offer a historic house of great charm and prestige dating back to 1600. It was used by the Austrians as a logistical base and later by the monks as a lakeside residence. The building has been completely renovated by arranging the stones and arches in such a way as to preserve the original structure of the building.
It consists of three completely independent floors. The two-room flat on the ground floor has a living area with a large, antique fireplace, a separate kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
Another flat is located on the first floor. It consists of two double bedrooms, one of which has a small balcony, a living area with an original antique fireplace and a bathroom.
The flat on the second and last floor consists of two double bedrooms with lake view, a living room with fireplace, a single bedroom, and a spacious bathroom with shower and window. Finally, it has a large loft.
Soiano del Lago is one of the municipalities of Valtenesi and has a beautiful old castle. The town stands in a hilly position a few kilometres from the lake and the beaches of Manerba, Moniga and Padenghe. One can enjoy a beautiful and wide view of the lake, especially of the lower lake and the surrounding moraine hills from every corner of the village. Soiano is also famous for the Garda Golf, one of the most famous and exclusive golf courses in Italy and Europe.
But there are also many other activities one can engage in: surfing, wonderful excursions on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback.
In the surrounding area there are numerous farms offering the tasting and sale of Garda extra virgin olive oil and D.O.C. wines such as Groppello. It is possible to take long rides on horseback, thanks to the various stables in the area, or pleasant excursions in the woods either on foot or by bicycle.
Soiano is only a few kilometres away from the main Lake Garda communication routes.
